There are common foods we eat almost everyday that has negative impact to our health and tends to reduce the human life span, these foods are bad to our health when we take them as staple in our diet. below are some of them and their side effects.


Processed foods

examples of processed foods are; sausage, sardines, sugary drinks, cookies, hot dogs, pizza, sweetened cereals,etc.
processed foods are very harmful to the human body and 60% of all the foods we eat now are processed, but there are two types of processed foods, which are

mechanically processed and chemically processed foods. the mechanically processed foods involves grinding and are not really unhealthy, while the chemically processed

foods often contain refined ingredients, artificial substances which have a little or no nutritional value. processed foods increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disorder.

Carbonated Drinks

Carbonated drinks are unhealthy drinks that are being preserved with gas to keep them active for months or even years.
most carbonated soft drinks has a little or no nutritional value to our health, consuming them often will make your blood sugar to rise and increases your chances of  type 2 diabetes.

processed Meats

processed meats are highly unhealthy meats for our health and can cause cancer to grow in the body. examples of some processed meats are; hot dogs, grilled meat,etc.
they should be avoided and instead replace them with fresh meats or fish, to avoid cancers.

Over Spicy Foods 

eating over spicy foods has negative impacts to our health and worsens stomach issues like ulcers and gastritis. According to Dr Kapil Agrawal, spicy foods doesn't

cause ulcer, but it increases severity of symptoms in patients already suffering from such conditions.


Fast Foods

Fast foods are generally junk foods, they are mass produced and are low in nutrients. Despite their low prices they contribute to disease risk and harm your body
wellness. You should watch out for many fast foods and fried foods too.
